About the positions

Culinary

Commis chef

Responsible for assisting the senior chefs in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. This includes preparing and cooking food items according to the recipes and standards set by the senior chefs, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, preparing ingredients for cooking, assisting with stock rotation, and ensuring that all dishes are prepared and served on time. Commis Chefs are also responsible for following all kitchen policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, and communicating effectively with the kitchen team.

Demi chef de partie
Responsible for assisting the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in food preparation and cooking, ensuring dishes are prepared to kitchen standards. They maintain a clean workstation, prepare ingredients, assist with stock management, and ensure timely service. Demi Chefs de Partie also helps monitor food costs, follow kitchen policies and safety regulations, and communicate effectively with the kitchen team.
Chef de partie
Responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to the recipes and standards set by the head chef. They are responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking food items, and ensuring that dishes are cooked and plated correctly and on time. Chef de Parties also supervise and train junior chefs and commis chefs, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and ensure that kitchen equipment is in good working order.
Sous chef
Responsible for assisting the head chef in overseeing all aspects of the kitchen’s operations. This includes supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory and food costs, and ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to high standards. Sous Chefs contribute to menu development, recipe creation, and food quality consistency. They coordinate with other departments for efficient kitchen operations and may lead the kitchen in the head chef’s absence.
Head chef
Responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen staff management. Head Chefs are responsible for creating and executing menus, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards, and managing food costs and inventory. They also supervise and train kitchen staff, maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Head Chefs play a key role in maintaining the reputation of the restaurant or establishment through the quality of their food and the overall dining experience they provide.

F&B Services

Hostess

Delivers exceptional service by greeting arriving guests and ensuring a positive first impression of the establishment as guests enter the restaurant. Responsible for welcoming guests and efficiently managing timely seating to their respective tables.

Bartender
Responsible for positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, expected to be attentive to the guest’s needs and make them feel welcomed, comfortable, important and relaxed.
Head bartender
Responsible for managing the bar operations and staff, ensuring high-quality drinks and service for customers. They create and update drink menus, train and supervise bartenders, and maintain bar supplies. Head Bartenders handle customer inquiries and complaints, maintain bar cleanliness, and follow alcohol service regulations. They also contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere and drive sales and profitability in the bar area.
Barista
Responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages to customers. Baristas are responsible for ensuring that beverages are prepared to the highest standards, following recipes and customer preferences. They also maintain cleanliness and order in the coffee preparation area, handle customer inquiries and payments, and operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders. Baristas play a key role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for customers and are often responsible for promoting and upselling additional products or services.
Runner

Responsible for assisting in the smooth operation of the dining area by delivering food from the kitchen to the appropriate table and ensuring that all orders are complete and accurate. Runners may also be responsible for clearing tables, refilling drinks, and assisting servers or bussers as needed. Their main goal is to ensure that food is delivered promptly and that customers have a positive dining experience.

Waiter/Waitress
Responsible for providing excellent customer service to restaurant guests. They are responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a positive dining experience. Waiter/ Waitress also answer questions about the menu, make menu recommendations, and handle customer inquiries and complaints. They work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure that orders are prepared and served correctly and in a timely manner. Additionally, are responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the dining are and handling payments from customers.
F&B Supervisor
Responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations within a hospitality establishment, such as a restaurant, hotel, or catering service. They are responsible for ensuring that guests receive high-quality service and that all food and beverage offerings meet the establishment’s standards. Fyb Supervisors manage and train staff, create work schedules, and handle customer inquiries and complaints. They also monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Fyb Supervisors play a key role in maintaining the reputation of the establishment and ensuring that guests have a positive experience.
Sommelier
Responsible for overseeing the wine program at a restaurant or hotel, curating the wine list, assisting guests in selecting wines, and ensuring that wines are stored and served correctly. Sommeliers are responsible for maintaining the wine inventory, including ordering and storing wines, as well as conducting wine tastings and training for staff. They also work closely with the kitchen staff to pair wines with food items on the menu, enhancing the overall dining experience for guests. Sommeliers are highly knowledgeable about wines and are passionate about sharing their expertise with others.
Assistant restaurant manager

Spa & Recreation

Lifeguard
Responsible for ensuring the safety of individuals at a swimming pool, beach, or other aquatic facility. Lifeguards are responsible for monitoring swimmers, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies. They must be trained in lifesaving techniques, CPR, and first aid, and be able to quickly and effectively respond to any potential dangers or accidents. Lifeguards also provide customer service, answer questions from patrons, and may assist with pool maintenance and cleaning. Spa therapist
Responsible for providing professional spa treatments, such as massages and facials, to enhance clients’ well-being and relaxation. They tailor treatments to meet individual needs, promote spa services and products, and ensure clients have a positive experience.
Spa attendant
Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of a spa by providing support to spa therapists and assisting clients with their needs. Spa attendants are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the spa facilities, including treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and locker rooms.
Spa receptionist
Responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a spa setting.
