Carlos Diaz

Human Resources professional with more than 20 years of experience in different regions: Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. International Recruiter, Headhunter, specialist in Multicultural Management.
My name is Carlos Diaz and I was born in Mar del Plata, Argentina.
I began my career in Hospitality Services more than 20 years ago as a receptionist at the Sheraton Hotel of my home town.

During these years, I was part of the most important hotels in Argentina, including the luxurious Hotel Costa Galana in Mar del Plata and the amazing Hotel Llao Llao in Bariloche, a southern Argentinian city.

My first experience overseas came as the Opening Team Human Resources Manager for the Hilton Malabo in Equatorial Guinea, Western Africa. This challenging experience imprinted on me, paving the way for the following challenges of my career. Such a rich culture and the hospitality of its people made this a once in a lifetime experience.

I then continued my professional career for Kempinski, participating in the pre opening of the Grand Hotel Djibloho at the new capital of Equatorial Guinea. I was then promoted as Cluster Director of Human Resources for Marsa Malaz Kempinski and Kempinski Residences & Suites at Doha, the capital city of Qatar.

Working in the Middle East was the most enriching experience of my career. Leading over 1000 employees from 52 different countries shaped me as a specialist in Multicultural Management.
